Piriton contains the antihistamine chlorphenamine maleate to relieve the symptoms of hayfever, other allergies and itchy skin rashes. Piriton and other antihistamines work by reducing the allergic response of the body to allergens like pollen. Histamine is produced by the body when it comes into contact with these allergens. This release of histamine causes symptoms such as itchiness, redness and inflamed reactions.
By blocking histamine from working, Piriton stops these symptoms from occurring. Many people use Piriton for hayfever to block the histamine reaction to pollen.
It can be used to treat the itchiness, redness, swelling, tenderness and irritation that can be caused by hayfever, allergies, nettle rash, prickly heat, insect bites and more. It is also indicated for the symptomatic relief of itch associated with chickenpox.

The most common side effect is drowsiness. Other possible side-effects include: possible side effects include dry mouth, blurred vision, headache, nausea, and fatigue.

Dear Doctor, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to discuss my ongoing issue with acid reflux. Over the past few weeks, I have been experiencing frequent episodes of heartburn, regurgitation, and a burning sensation in my chest. It has been quite uncomfortable and has affected my daily life. I have tried over-the-counter antacids, but they only provide temporary relief. The symptoms seem to worsen after meals, especially when I consume spicy or greasy foods. I have also noticed that lying down or bending over exacerbates the symptoms. I would greatly appreciate your guidance and advice on how to manage and alleviate these symptoms effectively. If necessary, I am open to scheduling an appointment for further evaluation and possible treatment options. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
