As with all medications, some users may experience side effects when using Infacol Suspension – however, most will not.
The active ingredient, simeticone, has little to no side effects, and is suitable for use from birth. However, in some rare cases, patients may experience allergic reactions to this or the other ingredients. If you or your baby shows any of the following symptoms, stop using this product and seek immediate medical assistance, from your doctor or local Accident & Emergency department;
Difficulty breathing or swallowingSkin reactions, including hives Swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat
