Mirvaso contains the active ingredient Brimonidine, a medicine known as an alpha agonist. This gets to work on your blood vessels, shrinking them, which restricts blood flow to the skin. This has the effect of reducing flushing, redness and swelling.
Common side effects include flushing, redness, excessive whitening of the skin, burning, and itching. Side effects may vary from one person to the next, as with any medication. You should always read the manufacturer’s Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) using this or any other medication.
