Colpermin IBS relief capsules contain an antispasmodic medicine that is used to relieve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It works by the capsules releasing peppermint oil into the digestive tract. The active ingredient of the medicine, natural peppermint oil formulation, relaxes the spasms of the bowels and relieves pain and discomfort associated with flatulence, spasms, and bloating.

Common side effects may include reflux (heartburn), nausea, a burning sensation in the mouth, anal irritation. Side effects may vary from one person to the next with any medication. You should always read the manufacturer’s Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) before taking this or any other medication. The above side effects can often be attributed to capsules rupturing when taking. The product contains peanut oil.
