Ibuprofen gel contains the active ingredient Ibuprofen and can be used on individuals over the age of 12 years old. Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines known as NSAIDs (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and it works by reducing inflammation and pain in the area it is applied to. Ibuprofen is a simple painkilling medicine used to relieve mild to moderate pain and inflammation. It is used for the topical treatment of backache, rheumatic and muscular pain, sprains, strains and neuralgia. Ibuprofen Gel can also be used for symptomatic relief of pain that may be caused from non-serious arthritic conditions and various sports injuries.
Once Ibuprofen Gel has been applied to the skin, it is absorbed into the underlying tissues in order to reduce pain and any inflammation in the local area. As Ibuprofen Gel is a topical preparation it is particularly useful as it can be applied directly to the affected area of pain. Ibuprofen gel should be avoided if you have had an allergic reaction to ibuprofen, aspirin or any other NSAID drugs. Ibuprofen Gel is available from our online pharmacy in 2 different strengths, 5% and 10%.

While generally well tolerated, any medicine can have the potential for causing side effects. However, some common ones are: mild skin rashes, itching or irritation, abdominal pain, indigestion, allergic reactions for example, swelling of lips, throat. Side effects may vary from one person to the next, as with any product. You should always read the manufacturer’s Information Leaflet before using this or any other product.

Dear Doctor, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to discuss my ongoing issue with acid reflux. Over the past few weeks, I have been experiencing frequent episodes of heartburn, regurgitation, and a burning sensation in my chest. It has been quite uncomfortable and has affected my daily life. I have tried over-the-counter antacids, but they only provide temporary relief. The symptoms seem to worsen after meals, especially when I consume spicy or greasy foods. I have also noticed that lying down or bending over exacerbates the symptoms. I would greatly appreciate your guidance and advice on how to manage and alleviate these symptoms effectively. If necessary, I am open to scheduling an appointment for further evaluation and possible treatment options. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
