Spasmonal Forte is a treatment for stomach cramps, designed to treat the symptoms of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), painful diverticular disease of the colon or period pain.
Spasmonal Forte uses Alverine as the active ingredient. Alverine prevents smooth muscles from spasming, including the muscles of the gut, intestine and uterus.

As with all medications, some users may experience side effects when using Spasmonal Forte – however, most will not. Common side-effects inlude: a feeling of sickness or dizziness headacheallergic reactions, which may include itching or skin rash increased levels of some liver enzymes (which would be detected by your doctor during a blood test). Side effects may vary from one person to the next, as with any product. You should always read the manufacturer’s Information Leaflet before using this or any other product.
